It’s no secret that in today’s world, the concept of absolute truth is virtually nonexistent. The world is divided into competing camps of “my truth” vs. “your truth.” How is it even possible to point our friends and acquaintances to the transcendent, absolute truths found in Scripture? It starts with understanding our own culture. In this class, we'll discuss an interview featuring Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, and Ray Vander Laan, well-known cultural apologist. In the process, we'll explore how the Apostle Paul engaged the culture with wisdom, grace, and courage as we discover how God uses ordinary people--like us!--to display His strength and advance His kingdom today.
