Tucked away among the minor prophet section of the OT, Joel describes God’s terrifying judgment and lavish grace, His fearful wrath and sweet mercy. Wayward Israel is plagued by locusts sent by God Himself, but full restoration is promised to all who will humble themselves and repent. We, too, must learn this lesson today.
